A Contemporary Reimagining of Ancient Japanese Art. Created in special collaboration with textile design brand YokkePokke, this original pouch brings a modern, colorful perspective to Japan's legendary national treasure, Chouju-giga (Frolicking Animals scroll).
YokkePokke is widely celebrated for reinterpreting Japanese culture and history through vibrant, contemporary textile design, with notable works including a large-scale art installation at Takamatsu Airport.
Inspired by historic depictions of animals holding Juzu (prayer beads) within the original scrolls, this exclusive artwork was custom-designed with official authorization from Kozan-ji Temple in Kyoto. The design playfully weaves Juzu motifs throughout the iconic scenes, blending ancient humor with modern aesthetics.
Crafted from premium Japanese Nishiki woven fabric and finished by Kyoto Kanbe Juzu—a workshop dedicated to traditional Juzu craftsmanship since 1918—this pouch offers a functional, stylish way to carry your bracelet, cards, jewelry, or daily essentials.
